Passover Charoset
Charoset is sweet, dark-colored, lumpy paste made of fruits and nuts, served primarily during Passover seder. It’s color and texture are meant to recall the mortar with which the Israeli slaves worked in Egypt. The word “chariest” comes from the Hebrew word for clay.
Today’s recipe is is the best chariest recipe I’ve ever tried, and it’s been passed down by family.
Jaroset es dulce, de color oscuro, pasta grumosa hechos de frutas y nueces, servido sobre todo durante el Seder de Pesaj. Es de color y la textura son para recordar el mortero con el que los esclavos israelíes trabajado en Egipto. La palabra “chariest” viene de la palabra hebrea para tierra batida.
La receta de hoy es es la mejor receta chariest que he intentado, y ha sido transmitido por la familia.
